Job summary

Georg Fischer Ltd. is seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team in Oklahoma. You will read blueprints, set up and operate welding equipment, and ensure quality welds while maintaining safety standards.

You will plan tasks from work orders, assemble parts, monitor processes, and keep tools and work area clean. Certification within six months is required, with recertification every six months thereafter.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years welding experience.
• Must pass weld certification test within the first 6 months and recertify every 6 months thereafter.
• Read and interpret blueprints and follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and diagrams to determine welding processes.
• Prepare, assemble and tack weld parts and surfaces.
• Monitor welding, cutting and fitting to prevent overheating or warping.
• Maintain, organize and clean equipment and work area.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHA 18001 certification requirements.
