The successful candidate will set up and operate Blanchard grinding machines, read blueprints, and use micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure part accuracy.

The role requires attention to safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with hourly pay between $18.00 and $22.00 depending on experience, plus start

Qualifications

• Previous Blanchard grinding experience.
• Comfort reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Blanchard grinding machines.
• Determine machine setup based on job prints.
• Adjust machine settings, feeds, and speeds.
• Load and feed materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and technical drawings.
• Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report defective or non-conforming parts.
• Complete production and shop-floor paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Participate in production meetings as needed.
