Job summary

A competitive steel supplier in Michigan is seeking a Blanchard Grinder Operator to set up and operate grinders for flat surfaces according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have Rotary Blanchard experience and must be able to read blueprints. Responsibilities include operating machines, planning procedures, and maintaining quality control. Qualifications

• Rotary Blanchard experience required.
• Must be able to operate a straightening press.
• Experience utilizing forklifts required.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead and or jib crane.
• Setup, adjust and operate a rotary wheel Blanchard grinder.
• Inspect and maintain work area and machine fluid levels daily.

Skills

Rotary Blanchard experience

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Strong analytical and mathematical skills
