Job summary

Oliver Inc. is looking for an accountable Bindery Operator to set up and operate cutting, folding and saddle-stitching equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and can work independently to deliver efficient, accurate, on-time production.

As part of our manufacturing team, you will read job tickets, set up machines, identify defects, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate production status at shift changes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing setting up & operating Bindery equipment.
• Ability to read and understand job ticket specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cutting, folding and saddle-stitching equipment according to specifications.
• Read job tickets and adjust machines for published specs.
• Identify, troubleshoot and correct defects.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on bindery equipment.
• Maintain high production speed with quality output.
