Job Summary

As a Multi-Competency Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for the finishing process in the printing production workflow. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that printed materials meet quality standards and are completed according to specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, gluers, etc.
  • Review job orders to determine specifications and set up equipment accordingly.
  • Monitor the binding process to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on bindery equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all work is completed within budget and delivery timeframes.
  • Inspect finished products for quality control, ensuring they meet production standards.
  • Collaborate closely with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Keep accurate records of production runs, materials used, and machine performance.
