4over is seeking a Sperry: Assistant Bindery Production Operator - 1st Shift in Los Angeles, CA. The role supports the Bindery Operator, setting up equipment and ensuring quality production for customer specifications.

The position is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with 5:00 AM–1:30 PM typical hours and potential variation. Training may occur at other times; on-site work with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle machine issues and production challenges.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines and adjust to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bindery Operator with setup and safe operation of bindery equipment.
• Ensure machines run according to specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor job progress, perform quality checks, and report status to supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety practices, and proper PPE usage.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate to the Floor Supervisor as needed.
• Complete required records and paperwork; adhere to safety regulations.
