Job summary

SMS group USA is seeking a Bearing Maintenance Technician in Osceola, AR to perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and relocation of chocks, bearings, and lubrication components to ensure safe operation of equipment.

The role requires operating a chock washer, cranes, and precision measurement tools, reading prints, and participating in PM tasks; candidates should be able to train new technicians and coordinate with vendors for parts and services.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a chock washer and chock flipper.
• Ability to run jib and overhead cranes.
• Ability to use micrometers, depth gauges, feeler gauges, and PI tape.
• Ability to read prints and interpret tolerances.
• Ability to fill out inspection paperwork in RMS.
• Ability to repair lubrication systems (REBS, Morgoil).
• Ability to communicate with vendors for parts.
• Ability to train new technicians.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain chocks and lubrication components safely.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and relocate chocks as required.
• Read prints and set tolerances per drawings.
• Document inspections and maintenance in RMS.
• Maintain housekeeping in the area of responsibility.
• Work shifts or be on-call for repairs.
• Support PM tasks and preventive maintenance programs.
