Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical - knowledge of machines and tools, including repair and maintenance.
• Electrical – knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
• Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on complex electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, motors.
• Observe and test operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions using testing devices.
• Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Operate repaired machinery to verify repairs.
• Analyze test results or machine error messages to diagnose problems.
