A precision engineering company in Massachusetts is seeking a Bearing Applications & Manufacturing Engineer to design and support precision bearing components. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, strong mechanical design knowledge, and experience with metal stamping. Responsibilities include developing manufacturing plans, supporting sales with technical documentation, and optimizing production processes. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in mechanical design, drafting, or manufacturing methods.
• Knowledge of metal stamping, machining, and bearing component manufacturing.
• Experience with progressive dies and compound dies preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T and tolerancing standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify bearing components and assemblies to meet customer specifications.
• Provide Applications Engineering support to Sales through design layouts and technical documentation.
• Develop internal component drawings and vendor drawings using CAD software.
• Review customer requirements and evaluate designs for manufacturability.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability principles.
• Support manufacturing teams with troubleshooting and process improvements.
