Stonhard is seeking a Production Batchmaker in New Jersey to blend pigments, resins, and additives into in-process batches with minimal corrections. The role emphasizes safety, equipment knowledge, and timely reporting of material shortages to the Plant Supervisor.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma, 1–2 years in batchmaking, and preferred chemistry coursework. A strong focus on organization, initiative, and effective communication is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years prior related experience or 1 year as a production batchmaker.
• Some college level chemistry; sector-specific batching/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Stages and prepares all raw materials for production batches.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in batch making area and stores inventories properly.
• Communicates low levels of raw materials to Plant Supervisor.
• Develops knowledge of material storage tanks, valving and piping, contents, actuation, and flow directions.
• Maintains good relationship with Quality Control.
