Job summary

Waters is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support downstream manufacturing operations. You will weigh and prepare materials, run simple analytical tests, and help ensure batches meet specifications in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree required with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a regulated environment required.
• Strong attention to detail and good rounding/significant digits understanding.
• Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly.
• Ability to operate independently on routine activities.

Responsibilities

• Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches meet specifications.
• Performs simple analytical tests (pH, conductivity, absorbance).
• Performs routine cleaning of processing equipment.
• Handles hazardous waste as appropriate.
• Assists with inventory counting activities as required.
• Inspects in-process parts to ensure quality and remove defective materials.
• Documents all manufacturing activities accurately and timely.
• Monitors meters, gauges, temperatures, pressures, and related controls.
• Plans and controls timing of operations to maintain batch integrity.
• Ensures proper batch proportions following approved procedures.
• Performs work to close tolerances with high quality and accuracy.
• Operates scales and meters and calibrates them as needed.
• Uses independent judgment to troubleshoot problems with limited supervision.
