ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Fabrication Operator at our Sargent & Greenleaf facility in Kentucky. You will operate diverse manufacturing equipment, perform assembly and finishing tasks, and follow established procedures to produce high-quality components.

The role requires reading blueprints and work instructions, strong attention to detail, and reliable attendance. You will rotate between production tasks within a team-focused environment, contributing to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows work instructions, production documents, and basic blueprints.
• Maintains quality through careful checks and precise operation.
• Works well in a team and shows dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate mills, drills, benders, broaches, presses, lathes, and secondary operation machines.
• Perform repetitive production tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Position parts according to blueprints, routings, and bills of materials.
• Assemble components using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other fasteners.
• Operate drill presses and riveting machines to support operations.
• Use hand tools to achieve proper fit and finish.
• Wire and solder simple subassemblies when required.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare products for shipment by packing and labeling materials.
