The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience with basic manual machines or balancing equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience operating basic manual machines or balancing equipment.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection methods.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic machining operations, including trimming, and deburring, of impellers.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Ensure all machined surfaces meet required quality and finish standards.
• Set up and operate the dynamic balancing machine for a variety of impellers.
• Properly load and secure parts into the balancing fixture following standard procedures.
• Identify imbalance conditions and make the required corrective actions.
• Document balance readings, adjustments, and final acceptance results per internal procedures.
• Troubleshoot basic balancing machine issues and communicate equipment needs to maintenance as required.
• Complete all required job travelers, inspection sheets, and balance reports accurately and on time.
• Follow internal quality procedures and report any nonconforming parts or process deviations.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to machining, balancing, safety, and workflow efficiency.
