Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, diagrams or technical drawings to understand the assembly process.
• Ability to collect parts, components and tools needed for assembly.
• Capable of setting up workbenches, assembly lines or machinery for assembly tasks.
• Proficient use of hand tools, power tools and machinery to fit, join, or connect parts per specifications.
• Ability to inspect finished assemblies to verify quality and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings to understand the assembly process and sequence.
• Collect all the necessary parts, components, and tools needed for the assembly process.
• Set up workbenches, assembly lines, or machinery as required for the assembly process.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fit, join, fasten, or connect individual parts or components according to specifications.
• Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct functional tests or perform initial troubleshooting to identify and rectify any assembly issues or malfunctions.
• Improve the productivity of operators, making optimal use of raw material and tooling resources to comply with the plant's production programs and help when technical consulting is required.
