The U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the production team. Under the Production Supervisor, you will assemble parts and subassemblies by hand or with simple machinery to build high-quality products.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, inspecting equipment, ensuring safety, meeting quality targets, and maintaining clean work areas. The position requires basic literacy, teamwork, and willingness to operate heavy machinery in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use various machines.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read a limited number of words and numbers; print and speak simple sentences.
• Basic math with weights and measurements; add/subtract and multiply/divide by 10s/100s.
• Follow common sense instructions and handle a few concrete variables.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic problem solving or troubleshooting skills.
• Team oriented; able to work with others.
• Able to work 5–6 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and route sheets, assemble and/or pack products for various departments.
• Inspect machine at beginning of shift and notate on check sheet.
• Clean and/or lubricate machinery as required.
• Inspect and place parts in designated trays.
• Meet specified quantity and quality guidelines.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Reports faulty operation or defective material to supervisor.
• Conducts visual quality inspections.
• Ability to place product in container on different surfaces and levels.
• Monitor machines.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work on varied environments such as slick surfaces and stairs.
• Work with heavy machinery (Milling Machines, Injection Molding, Etc.).
• Work in dimly lit areas.
