Job summary

Johnson Lexus of Raleigh, part of Johnson Automotive, is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Service Technician to join our Service team in Raleigh, NC. You’ll diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to the highest standards, leveraging manufacturer procedures and diagnostic tools.

Lexus or Toyota experience is a plus, but we value skilled technicians from other brands with strong workmanship and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills appropriate to experience level.
• Ability to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer and dealership vehicles per repair orders.
• Communicate diagnostic findings and parts needs with Service Advisors.
• Document inspections, repairs, and service recommendations accurately.
• Follow manufacturer and dealership warranty procedures and safety policies.
• Road-test vehicles as necessary to verify repairs and customer concerns.
