Job summary

Johnson Lexus of Raleigh is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Service Technician to join our Service team on Capital Boulevard. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, with emphasis on quality workmanship and professional growth.

Qualified candidates bring automotive maintenance and repair experience, strong mechanical/diagnostic skills, and a commitment to accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills appropriate to experience level.
• Ability to document work performed and communicate repair findings.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company standards.
• ASE Certification preferred; Lexus or Toyota experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer and dealership vehicles to standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and additional maintenance needs.
• Communicate findings and parts requirements with Service Advisors.
• Collaborate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Document inspections, repairs, and service recommendations clearly.
• Follow warranty procedures and road-test vehicles as needed.
• Participate in manufacturer and dealership training.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
