Job summary

Puget Collision in Grants Pass, OR is seeking an experienced Auto Body Collision Repair Technician. The role involves restoring vehicles with light to heavy damage, adhering to OE standards, and performing detailed repair work including ADAS calibrations.

A sign-on bonus is available based on experience and certifications. The technician will disassemble and refit parts, ensure accuracy of parts, and work to align doors, hoods, and frames to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• I-CAR Gold Class and ASE certifications are a plus.
• Strong understanding of light to heavy automobile collision repair.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines for repair.
• Skilled welder with ability to remove and refit welded panels and bolt-on parts.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs adhere to OE standards, DRP part choices, and ADAS requirements, ensuring a quality and safe repair.
• Disassemble vehicles as needed and refit new parts (bumpers, fenders, grills, moldings).
• Restore repaired areas to original manufacturer specifications including alignments and welds.
• Check parts for accuracy and report discrepancies to Estimator.
• Work efficiently to meet target delivery dates for each RO.
• Guide and assist apprentices to support their development.
