Job summary

Puget Collision in Aurora, CO is hiring an Auto Body Collision Repair Technician. The role involves restoring vehicles with light to heavy collision damage, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and ADAS calibrations, and ensuring parts accuracy throughout the repair process.

The position requires welding and panel replacement capabilities, with a focus on restoring vehicles to factory specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency. Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• I-CAR Gold Class and ASE certifications a plus.
• Complete understanding of light to heavy automobile collision repair.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines for repair.
• Skilled welder able to remove/refit welded panels and bolt-on items.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written repair instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs adhere to OE standards, DRP part choices, and ADAS requirements for calibrations and scanning.
• Complete disassembly of vehicles.
• Refit new parts such as bumpers, fenders, grills, moldings and other bolt-on/welded items.
• Restore repaired areas to original manufacturer specifications, including alignments and frame measurements.
• Check parts accuracy before starting repairs and notify Estimator of discrepancies.
• Work efficiently to meet the target delivery date.
