Job summary

Puget Collision in Medford, OR is seeking a Body Tech Apprentice in an in-training role. You will assist with disassembly, part fitting, and repairing vehicle bodies under supervision, aligning with OE standards and ADAS calibration requirements.

The position offers full-time hourly work, with an expectation to earn I-CAR certification within the first year and to perform essential tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• I-CAR certification earned within 1st year of employment.
• Ability to read and follow instructions precisely and work independently as well as with others in an organized manner.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, performance-driven team environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs adhere to OE standards, DRP part choices, and ADAS calibration and scanning requirements.
• Complete vehicle disassembly.
• Refit new parts such as bumpers, fenders, grills, moldings and other bolt-on items.
• Restore repaired areas to original manufacturer specifications, including alignment and frame measurements.
• Assist the Body Technician by checking parts for accuracy and flag discrepancies.
• Work efficiently to meet target completion dates.
• Take responsibility for all parts assigned to your portion of the job.
• Protect vehicle interiors and exteriors from damage during repairs.
