Job summary

Puget Collision in Maple Valley, WA is seeking an Auto Body Collision Repair Technician. The Body Technician restores automobiles with light to heavy damage, repairing exterior damage and reshaping panels according to manufacturer guidelines and ADAS calibration needs.

Primary duties include disassembly, fitting new parts, aligning panels and frames, and ensuring repairs meet OE standards. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years' experience.
• I-CAR Platinum Preferred or actively pursuing Platinum Status.
• Ability to produce 260 to 320 labor hours/month.
• Independently performs most non-structural repairs, panel replacements, and moderate repairs.
• Demonstrates consistent quality and limited rework.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs adhere to OE standards, DRP part choices, and ADAS requirements for calibrations and scanning.
• Complete disassembly of vehicles.
• Refit new parts such as bumpers, fenders, grills, moldings, and other bolt-on and welded items.
• Restore repaired areas to original manufacturer specifications, including door, hood and deck alignments, chassis, and frame measurements.
• Check parts for accuracy before starting repairs and notify the Estimator of discrepancies.
• Work efficiently to meet the target delivery date assigned to an RO.
• Provide guidance, education, and assistance to the assigned apprentice.
