Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Tech B to support test execution and engineering activities in a collaborative team environment. The role focuses on applying engineering technology to develop and test product assemblies or components under detailed process instructions and documentation requirements.

Applicants should have a two-year technical school background or equivalent experience, be able to read and follow procedures, and be prepared to obtain and maintain a government security

Qualifications

• Able to communicate written and verbally.
• Able to use Microsoft office applications.
• Able to perform manual labor and operate automated and semi-automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.
• Operates moderately complex equipment in the production of hardware using moderately complex manual skills with training and supervision.
• Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision.
• Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.
