Job summary

Exyte is seeking a motivated Fit-Up Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Idaho. You will prepare and assemble components with precision to support high-tech production processes, using mechanical skills and experience with tools on the assembly line.

You will read and follow work instructions, measure parts with a tape measure, and operate hand and power tools safely. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for long periods, and flexibility to work weekends as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity.
• Ability to read a tape measure & understand basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit tubing, piping, and valves according to drawings, prints, and work instructions.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Measure materials and components using a tape measure and other basic measuring tools
• Interpret measurements in fractional and decimal formats.
• Safely operate hand and power tools while following company safety procedures.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure assemblies meet specifications.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
• Support cross-training efforts and assist in other production areas as needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
