This role emphasizes craftsmanship, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical work, with responsibilities including testing, troubleshooting, and occasional on-site installations. A strong mechanical background and 3+ years of assembly experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience assembling industrial equipment or heavy machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, dial indicators).
• Hands-on hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical work.
• Familiarity with lifting, rigging, and handling large components.
• Experience running or supporting fintube machines preferred.
• Welding, PLC controls, or finning equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fasten machine components, including bearings and guards.
• Read blueprints to ensure proper alignment and function.
• Hook up hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Check alignment and movement of rotating equipment.
• Test and verify machine performance before shipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical or system issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Assist with installations or upgrades at customer sites.
