Job summary

NTN Bearing Corporation in Columbus, Indiana, is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Worker to perform a variety of component assembly operations using hand tools and mechanical aids. You will rotate among stations and assist sub-assembly work on an assigned product line, learning typical 25-30 component parts through on‑the‑job training.

You will observe machine operation, record quality data, handle daily reports, and support inventory processes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety rules.
• Able to use basic measuring tools and perform calculations.
• Willingness to learn machine operation and maintain quality.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine operation and verify conformance to specifications.
• Record quality inspection data on check sheets and daily reports.
• Move switches to check and reset machines as needed.
• Record inventory transactions using the Bar Code Inventory system.
• Supply components to hoppers or conveyors and assist in sub-assembly.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
