Job summary

Global Cooling is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our Manufacturing Department. You will assemble parts and subassemblies using small tools and fixtures, following drawings or blueprints as needed.

You will work with the team to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, adhere to 5S and lean principles, and participate in overtime when required. A High School Diploma is required and strong mechanical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong general mechanical skills.
• Able to concentrate in a busy work environment.
• Detail-oriented to maintain high quality and safety.

• Able to read and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Produces basic components by assembling parts and subassemblies using small tools and fixtures.
• Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Tests the quality of work using prescribed methods including measuring devices.
• Notifies Supervisor or Lead when Quality Issues arise.
• Completes any necessary work records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment with the team.
• Works overtime if necessary, including evenings and weekends.
• Adheres to Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S).
• Performs other duties as assigned
