Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Production Associate II for a manufacturing environment producing cells, cables, and assemblies. You will perform manual and mechanical assembly, soldering, labeling, and basic testing while following BOMs and work instructions.

The role requires attention to quality, safe work practices, and effective communication of production issues to management. Ongoing Lean Manufacturing practices apply.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read BOMs, travelers, drawings, and work instructions.
• Basic soldering experience and IPC Class 2 familiarity.
• Attention to detail in a quality-driven manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe workplace for all employees.
• Read BOMs, travelers, assembly instructions, drawings, and work instructions to identify required materials and specifications.
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools such as drivers, drills, cutters, strippers, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and wrenches.
• Complete hand soldering with low temperature and high temperature solder while meeting IPC Class 2 standards and cleaning residual flux.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks including potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, labeling, and ink jetting assemblies.
• Operate independently or as part of a moving assembly line using Lean Manufacturing Processes.
• Perform on-line go/no-go testing, inspect assemblies, and complete test data sheets accurately.
• Set up, calibrate, and use semi-automated crimping, stripping, labeling, and light computerized test equipment.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and verify calibration before use.
• Record time, labor, notes, comments, date codes, serial numbers, and quality information in manufacturing computer systems.
