Job summary

Nightforce Optics in Orofino, Idaho is seeking Assembly Technician I to join our Production team. You will assemble high-quality rifle scopes and optics, following detailed instructions and work orders to ensure rugged, reliable products.

This entry-level role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, safety, and quality, with a 4-day work week and comprehensive employee benefits. Strong dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Solid work history in any industry acceptable.
• Attention to detail and dexterity necessary.
• Ability to learn new skills and take on responsibilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and also independently.
• Good manual dexterity required.

Responsibilities

• Learns and gains proficiency in production positions from repetitive to non-repetitive tasks.
• Assembles subassemblies and premium rifle scopes following instructions, diagrams, and drawings.
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks, reassembles, and tests products as directed.
• Sorts and counts products before assembling or packing.
• Performs quality checks to ensure specs and QC guidelines are met.
• Sets up and operates hand- and power-tools per supervisor instructions.
• Reports discrepancies and damages to production leads.
• Adheres to safety practices and company policies.
