Job summary

Triumph seeks a skilled assembler in Indiana to read assembly drawings, identify parts, and follow predetermined assembly sequences to build and repair aerospace components.

You will perform fitting, drilling, riveting, deburring, and inspection using spot welders, presses, die sets, and precision gauges, reporting defects promptly. A HS diploma or GED with 1–2 years of hand assembly experience is required; soldering/brazing is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; ability to read, write and understand English; 1–2 years of hand assembly experience with micrometers and quality manufacturing operations.
• Soldering or brazing preferable.

Responsibilities

• Read assembly drawings, identify parts and predetermined assembly sequence documentation.
• Perform assembly, fitting, filing, reaming, riveting, crimping, swarging, adjusting and inspection.
• Disassembly, repair, and reassembly of returned or salvaged units.
• Detect defective or incorrect parts and request replacements.
• Assist in set-up of equipment.
