Job summary

Dowding Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician to operate and maintain manufacturing machines at a well-lit bench. You will review orders, blueprints, and instructions to complete high-quality parts efficiently.

The role requires ability to read basic drawings, set-up instructions, and inspection criteria. Responsibilities include safe operation of tools, participation in continuous improvement efforts, basic math and blueprint interpretation, and maintaining a clean, organized work

Qualifications

• Basic blueprint reading skills required.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, process sheets, and instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain various tools and machinery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to increase production and reduce scrap.
• Demonstrate basic machine shop math and blue print reading/interpolation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and other duties as needed.
