Job summary

Signode is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble diverse subassemblies and products for general-purpose machines. You will conduct functional tests to verify specifications, perform quality checks, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure timely deliveries.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to 6S practices in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required.
• 0-1 year experience for Level I; Electrical / Mechanical experience required.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand and power tools, read drawings and assembly instructions.
• Verify dimensions and alignment of assembled parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical adjustments and ensure proper fit and operation.
• Perform electrical assembly including switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses.
• Document processes and results, maintain a safe and organized work area.
