Signode Industrial Group is seeking an Assembly Technician for our Forest, VA facility. The role involves assembling diverse subassemblies and final products, performing functional tests, and ensuring quality standards are met.

You will interpret drawings, use hand and power tools, and support equipment troubleshooting to maintain on-time delivery. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 0–1 year in electrical/mechanical work, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Level I - 0-1 year of experience in electrical/mechanical work.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Electrical / Mechanical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Assemble components with hand and power tools and verify dimensions.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical components and wiring harnesses.
• Document assembly processes and test results.
