Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Kansas City, MO seeks an EOCC Assembly Technician to perform assembly/disassembly using hand and power tools, following prints and detailed instructions. You will work on a production line, adhering to safety standards, quality controls, and 5S practices.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, experience with hand/pneumatic/power tools, and the ability to read instructions in English. Overtime possibilities and teamwork with the EOCC team are expected.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of basic use of specialized equipment & hand tools.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics, hand tools, and machine testing procedures.
• 1+ year of experience in mechanical jobs, assembly and disassembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed disassembly and assembly instructions and procedures.
• Disassemble and assemble components using hand and power tools.
• Clean and buff components and wash parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per 5S standards.
• Adhere to SOPs and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Assist other workstations and be willing to cross-train.
