Job summary

Matthews International is seeking an Assembly Operator to assemble products and parts using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, adhesives and fasteners to meet standards and schedules, while following safety rules.

You will monitor quality points, record data, and report issues to a supervisor. The role includes cross-training across stations and performing preventative maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of assembly experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Assembles product, parts, or materials using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, adhesives and fasteners to standards.
• Operates assigned equipment or tools safely per safety programs.
• Monitors Quality Points and records data; reviews quality information on site.
• Reports quality and production concerns to Supervisor.
• Cross trains on all work stations within department.
• Performs operator level preventative maintenance on tools, jigs and fixtures.
