Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Operator to follow assembly instructions and assemble parts in a jig using fastening hardware and air-powered tools.

The role includes inspecting parts for quality assurance and entering data into the ERP system. You will read work instructions, use fixtures and jigs, perform basic maintenance, and support production with accurate part counts and quality checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use quality inspection equipment.
• Proficient math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures.
• Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts; compare parts to work instructions to verify standards.
• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system.
• Knowledge of various fixtures and jigs.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and setup to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Examine parts during production process.
• Execute scheduling board.
• Ability to use motorized walking stacker.
