Job summary

Edlund is seeking a Production Technician – Assembly in Burlington, VT. You will assemble components per drawings and work instructions, operating hand and power tools while maintaining quality and safety.

You will read blueprints, inspect parts with gauges, troubleshoot minor issues, and support lean manufacturing goals. Must have a high school diploma and up to three years in manufacturing. Shift options include 6am–2:30pm or 7am–3:30pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; up to three years related experience in manufacturing.
• Read blueprints, diagrams and work instructions; follow procedures precisely.
• Ability to inspect parts and assemblies for quality and conformance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, subassemblies and finished products with hand/power tools.
• Read blueprints and work instructions; interpret measurements.
• Inspect parts for quality and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Set‑up and operate equipment; use fixtures and gauges to ensure accuracy.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and model makers to improve products.
