Job summary

General Plastics & Composites LP is seeking an Assembler I to support assembly and prototype activities in a manufacturing setting. You will read engineering drawings, handle hand tools and basic testing equipment, and work with resin/adhesive formulations.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, soldering, mixed resin preparation, and supporting process improvements while maintaining a strong safety culture. Candidates should have a HS diploma and 3+ years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment; familiarity with production processes is advantageous.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Comfort with using hand and power tools and basic testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain inventory by checking stock and anticipating needs.
• Contribute to process improvements in assembly and production areas.
• Soldering of components.
• Accurately measure and mix resin/adhesive per formulas.
• Assist in prototype builds to support design and process development.
• Promote a safe work culture and report hazards.
• Perform WL Assembler 1 duties and other tasks as assigned.
