Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows in Sharon, MA is seeking a motivated entry-level operator to learn precision welding and support the production of metal bellows for aerospace, defense, and energy.

You’ll train on TIG ID/OD and laser marking, read engineering drawings, set up machines, monitor tooling, and record labor transactions to keep operations accurate.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and labor transaction systems.
• Dependability and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required (training provided).
• Experience with microscopes or vision systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn precision welding techniques in TIG ID, TIG OD, Laser ID, or marking to earn Operator Authorizations.
• Follow documented work instructions to craft components meeting exact specifications.
• Set up machines and maintain stable operating conditions.
• Monitor production in real time and adjust tooling and machines to maintain quality.
• Use measurement tools to inspect parts and ensure standards are met.
• Record labor transactions accurately in basic computer systems.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Learn precision welding techniques in one or more of the following areas: TIG ID, TIG OD, Laser ID, Part / Laser Marking with the goal of earning and maintaining your Operator Authorization(s).
• Bring engineering drawings to life by following documented work instructions and crafting components that hit our exact specifications—precision and patience are your superpowers!
• Get hands‑on with machine set‑ups and keep everything running smoothly by maintaining stable operating conditions.
• Be proactive by monitoring production in real‑time and making quick adjustments to tooling and machines to keep quality top-notch.
• Make quality a priority by using micrometers, verniers, leak‑check equipment, and keen visual assessments to inspect parts and ensure everything meets our standards.
• Learn our basic computer systems to accurately record your labor transactions and keep all required entries accurate and up‑to‑date.

Qualifications

What you bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• No experience necessary - we'll train you! But it helps if you are mechanically inclined or have
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and labor transaction systems
• Are known for your dependability
• Have worked in manufacturing before
• Have any experience with microscopes or vision systems
• Can work independently and troubleshoot issues

Hourly Rate Range: $ 22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
