Job summary

The Lee Company in Westbrook, CT is seeking an Assembler/Tester to perform sub and final assembly of a variety of products and to set up/testing equipment. You will read drawings and routings, use hand tools or simple machine tools, and conduct quality checks with gauges and micrometers.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, basic mechanical aptitude, strong eye-hand coordination, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some assembly experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and simple math skills.
• Ability to concentrate daily with good eye/hand coordination.
• Experience using precision measurement tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub and final bench assembly of standard products.
• Work from drawings, routing sheets, and work instructions.
• Set up and use bench-type power/hand tools and simple machine tools.
• Use measuring instruments to check work and maintain quality.
• Set up and monitor automated assembly or test equipment.
