Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–1 year general mechanical work experience.
• Read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications; perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
• Possess strong mechanical reasoning.
• Implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Use employee self‑service to access online information and use specialized automated systems.
• Demonstrate competency in team member activities and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self‑development activities.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/test products using mechanical skills and tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Record test results on data forms and interpret specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering orders to produce conforming assemblies.
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts as needed.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, FOD-free work area.
• Contribute to lean initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure calibration of equipment according to schedule.
