Job summary

Qualitrol in the United States seeks an experienced assembler to join our production team in New York. You will set up and operate assembly equipment and rotate through cells to support efficient manufacturing of monitoring and protection devices.

You must have at least 1 year of assembly or lean manufacturing experience, good English reading/writing, and the ability to read MSDS and work instructions. Safety and quality are essential in this role, with hands-on use of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

Reading MSDS and standard work instructions is required.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of assembly or lean manufacturing experience.
Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency.
Ability to use hand and power tools and read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

Sets up and operates assembly equipment (hydraulic presses, staking, drills, welding, riveters, winders).
Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader.
Packs finished product for shipment.
Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements.
Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards.
