Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc in Union City, GA is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts and assemble products per customer specifications. Roles include setting up work area, selecting parts, and using hand tools to complete the assembly.

Qualifications

  • No minimum experience required, but 6 months of manufacturing/assembling experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills are preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work area setup.
  • Fits parts together per instructions and quality standards.
  • Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
  • Stacks finished products and may label or bundle components as needed.
  • Ensures work area is safe, clean, and organized; equipment is safe to operate.
  • Performs pre-shift startup equipment inspection and reports issues.
  • Maintains production records as required.
  • Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
  • Performs duties per safety and quality procedures and participates in programs and meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
