Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • No minimum experience required; 6 months manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work area setup.
  • Assemble parts according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
  • Stack completed products per established procedures and, if required, cover, label and band components.
  • Ensure work area is safe, clean and organized and equipment is safe to operate.
  • Complete pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and report issues.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Maintain production records as required.
  • Check materials and finished products for standards compliance.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures, rules and standards.
  • Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
