US Tech Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly of electronic, mechanical, and optical components used in precision equipment. The role requires 1–5 years of hands-on assembly/manufacturing experience with tools and small components, and a willingness to grow into more advanced optical/electronic work.

The position is entry-to-mid-level, involving following instructions, quality control, documentation, and learning new assembly techniques.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on electronic/optical/mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and drawings.
• Attention to detail and quality with small components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components by following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform basic assembly tasks such as fastening, crimping, cable installation, soldering, and harness assembly.
• Use basic hand tools and assembly equipment safely and correctly.
• Install components and sub-assemblies into larger assemblies or systems.
• Handle small and sensitive components carefully, including cables, fibers, and optical/mechanical parts.
• Follow established procedures for basic optical or mechanical alignment as trained.
• Check completed work for proper fit, connection, alignment, and overall quality.
• Identify basic assembly issues and notify a technician or supervisor when additional support is needed.
• Complete required production and assembly documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support different assembly tasks and production priorities as needed.
