Job summary

Tramec Sloan – TS Iola Division is seeking an assembler to perform workstation or line-assembly operations to assemble components into a complete product. The shift is Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm, with potential variation based on production needs.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repetitive hand operations, mechanized assembly, final in-process inspection, and operating department machines. Work includes inventory counts, adherence to the Quality System, and 5S housekeeping in a safe

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED or equivalent experience; 1 year in manufacturing preferred.
• Basic reading, math skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventative maintenance.
• Perform repetitive hand operations to assemble components per established procedures.
• Operate mechanized assembly operations using hand or power tools.
• Conduct final assembly and in-process quality inspection.
• Operate all department machines at specified rates as required.
• Assist in scheduled physical counts.
• Follow the Quality System and ensure products meet requirements.
• Keep work area clean and organized using 5S; follow safety rules.
