Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble fabricated parts and units at floor stations, prepare components for testing, and calibrate to meet tight tolerances and specifications. You will identify defective units and perform repairs as needed, while suggesting productivity improvements to keep operations efficient.

The role follows a standard 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to precisely measure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations.
• Prepare parts for testing and calibrate to meet tolerances and specifications.
• Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
• Propose measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
• Inspect and test work for quality.
