Job summary

Wabash in Texas is seeking an Assembler to install subassemblies, operate rivet punchers, and assemble components on the production floor. You will follow decals/blueprints, use power tools, and help keep work areas organized and safe.

Training is provided; a high school diploma is preferred but not required. This full-time position offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401k match, and opportunities to grow within our manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Basic reading/writing/verbal skills.
• Familiarity with the use of a tape measure and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Owning and assisting in improving our safety, quality, and delivery performance.
• Keeping your work area organized and free of any potential work hazards.
• Caulking materials
• Using power tools to measure and cut material
• Installing rivets
• Operating heavy machinery
• Installing truck bed flooring
• Following decal templates/ blueprints
• Installing signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps and other associated parts
• Performing additional work as assigned by the Supervisor or Coordinator.
• Operating safely through wearing PPE such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses with side shields, respirators, hearing protection, etc.
• Completing assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices.
