Job summary

Wabash in Lafayette, IN is seeking an Assembly worker to perform a variety of tasks on the production floor, including installing subassemblies, rivets, decals, and other components. Training is provided, and you will operate hand and power tools with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role offers opportunities to work across departments as needed. Applicants should be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have basic reading, writing, and verbal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality, and delivery performance.
• Keep the work area free of hazards.
• Measure, cut and caulk materials; install rivets and decals.
• Operate heavy machinery; install truck bed flooring.
• Follow decal templates and blueprints; install signs and related parts.
• Perform duties with PPE and in compliance with safety policies.
