Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler/Brazer to perform precision assembly and brazing of small, multi-component parts used in mission-critical applications. You will work with extremely tight tolerances and use magnification equipment for detailed assembly, brazing, and inspection tasks.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, performing brazing, and inspecting finished assemblies for quality while maintaining a clean, safe work environment in a fully onsite facility in Buda, TX.

Qualifications

• High manual dexterity and steady hands for tiny components.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and detailed work instructions.
• Aptitude with magnification equipment and inspection under magnification.
• Experience with small parts assembly using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small, multi-component precision parts per drawings and instructions.
• Perform brazing operations following established process parameters.
• Work to extremely tight tolerances, around 0.001 inch, with high accuracy.
• Handle and assemble very small and delicate components with precision.
• Use microscopes or magnifying lenses for assembly, brazing, and inspection.
• Inspect assemblies for fit, alignment, and workmanship; address defects.
• Follow quality procedures, safety guidelines, and production processes.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store tools.
