Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail for small precision components.
• Experience in brazing, welding, soldering or precision assembly is a plus; on-the-job training provided.

• Prepare parts for brazing by cleaning, masking, fixturing, assembling and applying braze material.
• Apply braze material with precision using syringes, brushes, screens, templates, or automated tools.
• Read and follow work instructions, sketches, process specs and quality standards.
• Set up and inspect joint fit-up and braze alloy placement.
• Collaborate with furnace operators and quality inspectors to ensure brazing cycles succeed.
• Verify joint cleanliness, gap tolerances and alloy distribution.
• Maintain production documentation per quality system requirements.
• Keep workstation clean and organized following 5S and safety protocols.
• Identify nonconforming conditions and communicate issues promptly.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare parts for brazing by cleaning, masking, fixturing, assembling, and applying braze alloy or paste.
• Apply braze material with precision using syringes, brushes, screens, templates, or automated dispensing tools.
• Read and follow work instructions, sketches, process specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform set‑up and inspection to ensure proper placement of braze alloy and joint fit‑up.
• Work closely with furnace operators and quality inspectors to ensure successful brazing cycles.
• Verify joint cleanliness, gap tolerances, and alloy distribution.
• Maintain accurate production documentation in accordance with quality system requirements.
• Keep workstation clean and organized while following 5S and safety protocols.
• Identify nonconforming conditions and communicate issues promptly.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to routinely work with small, precision components.
• Experience in brazing, welding, soldering, metal joining, or precision assembly is a plus; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
